I just love this one!
Man, this is. Awesome. ._.
I still haven't read The Silmarillion, though. But after seeing this piece of niceness, it has just jumped up on my to-do list.
The Sil is a heafty read. It's told differently than LOTR or the Hobbit - less story-centric and more like a History of the Elves of Middle-earth. It's a lot to take in and is tough to follow the first read-through (at least for me). It is good, but there are hundreds of little stories. So much so there is a series called the HOME series (History of Middle-earth) that expands upon many of the stories in the Silmarillion.

But life's been really rushy these days, so I haven't had the time to read it proper, so I still haven't bought it xD
I'm aware of the series. There are actually a whole bunch of other books, aren't there? Children of Hurin, Unfinished Tales, Bilbo's Last Song...
I haven't even seen all of them yet, but I wish I do, sometime soon.
Actually, Christopher Tolkien is doing a pretty awesome job, keeping his father's legacy going on...
